Scheduled Phone Line Closures

Dorking Medical Practice will be implementing a brand new telephone system across all of our surgeries over the next couple of weeks. As a result we will have to briefly close down the phone lines. The closures will be staggered from surgery to surgery so that you will still be able to contact us through an alternative surgery at all times during our open hours.

Closures will run from mid-morning until the afternoon on the following days:

New House – Thursday 24th January

Hillside – Friday 25th January

Riverbank – Wednesday 30th January

Musculoskeletal Practitioners and Clinical Pharmacists now working at Dorking Medical Practice

Musculoskeletal Practitioners - these clinicians will assess and diagnose any problems associated with a joint, muscle or bone. They are highly trained, skilled and experienced in managing problems including a painful neck, back, hip, knee or ankle joint, tennis elbow, sciatica, arthritis..... and more.

Clinical Pharmacists - need a medication review? Experiencing problems with your prescribed medication? Our in-house pharmacists are here to help you.

Please speak with one of our receptionists to book an appointment. They are often a better option than seeing a GP as they are more specialised in their field, have a shorter waiting time and will have longer appointment times with you.

Merger with Riverbank Surgery

Dorking Medical Practice is pleased to announce the merger between Dorking Medical Practice and Riverbank Surgery. Riverbank Surgery has become a branch surgery of Dorking Medical Practice.

The aim of the merger is to achieve a robust and sustainable practice, delivering enhanced levels of patient care with significant benefits in a time when General Practice continues to change rapidly.  Steps will be taken to ensure that the individual cultures, identity and ethos of both Dorking Medical Practice and Riverbank Surgery are maintained.
